most of the time yes, but thats not always the case
i moved with the same car, about 2 miles away to a different zip code, the new town that i moved to my insurance dropped 14.00 dollars a month for liability only which is all that you need in indiana

the same thing happend when i went to florida my insurance went down 28 bucks on a 98 eclipse i moved 3 blocks down the road to a better apartment building

It could. I live 20 miles or so from Boston, in a small town. My rates are much lower than they would be if I lived in Boston.

    Usually yes.

it can vary your insuranse quote ,due to crime rates in more populated areas tend to be higher because car theft ,however it shall not make a considrable saving,as the main factors are age engine size and so on,though what might have an impact on your insurance is wether or not your car is kept on off road parking suchas private grounds or garage.

Auto Insurance rates have many components.

Were you live is a big one.
    Age
    Sex
    Married/Single
    Driving Record
    Prior coverage
    Own/Rent
Have you ever been canceled for nonpayment.
How long you have been with the same company.
How long you have lived at your current address.

If you live in a bigger city then the risk is greater on the vehicle. More of a chance of theft, vandalism, more cars equals more chances of an accident.

really depends on how that small or big town is rated for the insurance companies to give you a break
