    What crisis? It is still possible to get cheap car insurance. In fact, in California there is a low income program. It is called California Assigned Risk Low Cost.

    You can find more info and an agent that writes it at the website below. In Los Angeles, its $350 a year and even lower in other counties. Call an agent to see if you qualify. I write it all the time. There is not much commission on it, but it is a way to give back to your community. Hope other agents are listening too.
