The fact that nursing homes and assisted living facilities cost from ,000-,000 a month and up. Why is it that McCain sides with long term care insurance companies in this instance? If he so protective of seniors? This would be great and it would not take their whole life savings just to be put on welfare in the end. McCain is all for the insurance companies. Why are people so naive?

Because long term care with insurance is a lot cheaper for Americans in general and their taxes than letting them all get government provided insurance and living for the rest of their lives. Do you want to pay 2,000-5,000 a month for their homes out of your taxes? Or would you rather them try to pay for these homes with their insurance companies? Every person has to take responsibility for themselves no matter how old they are. (except children) Better start saving now!
