As mentioned contacting a broker is your best option. Some companies are good for younger people, some for older people. Some are better/cheaper for males, some for females. Some are cheaper for smokers, but if you quit they aren’t competitve for non-smokers.

Contact a broker. They will be able to take your personal situation and find a product that suits your need exactly.

there are thousands to choose from… pick one with a long history, a strong rating from AM Best and Weiss and doesn’t restrict things you like to do — for example if you are a pilot there should be no aviation rateup, if you travel there should be no restriction on overseas death, if you’re military there should be no war clause.

go to a financial planner or a full service insurance broker (not agent, make sure they’re not captive). Price is not the only measure of "best"

Just like jeans, there’s no "one size fits all" best for anyone. It’s HIGHLY variable, on where you live, your personal health, and what coverage you want.

The best way to find who’s best for YOU, is by using a local, independent agent who’s familiar with a lot of companies.
