Where can I find cheap auto insurance after a DUI?
I have a bad driving record that includes a DUI and driving with a suspended. I am looking for some way of getting reasonable priced auto insurance in Florida. I went to Geico and they want to charge me around 0 a month! Also what is an SR-22?

You have a bad driving record, and a history of not following the rules (driving while your license was suspended) You are a very high risk to get into a collision, and as such, the cost of insurance will reflect the risk.
An SR- 22 is a Certificate of Financial Responsibility, which the state requires to prove that you have insurance. When you have a bad history, the state will not allow you to just say you have insurance, they require that you provide proof as a condition of having your driving privileges

You are going to have a hard time getting reasonably priced insurance, because of the risk that the insurance company is taking in covering you. No company really wants to insure high risk drivers, because they usually loose money on those drivers.
Sorry

your best bet is to go to the bus station. 500-700 a month is average for your record theres no getting around it unless you get a family member just to get insurance for your car and you drive it and pay for the insurance. so you pay regular costs under who evers name.

You don’t. The consequence of the behavior you chose to do is 36 months worth of high insurance rates, and a bad driving record.
An SR-22, also called a Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR), is a certificate mandated by the state and provided by your auto insurance company that verifies that you have auto insurance liability coverage.
The SR-22 is also a promise to the state from your insurance that they will notify the state immediately if there is a lapse in coverage, and if there is, they will revoke your license.

Sorry to tell you this but with that record there is no such thing as cheap insurance for you for at least the next 5-7 years.
Frankly i hope you cant afford to get back on the road as anybody that drinks and drives then drives with a suspended license should not be on the road.

Basically you won’t find anything remotely cheap for 5 years after the DUI. Companies will see you as high risk and either charge you over $500/month or simply deny you any coverage.
