I would hope you take such good care of your dog that it will live a full and long life. You should look into pet insurance for your dog, we have Trupanion pet insurance and it greatly reduces the amount that you would have to pay for veterinary bills if your dog had some unexpected accident or illness.
As far as life insurance for dogs… I find that request a little unusual. We have life insurance for people based on how much money they make or are worth so that their family will be able to afford food/shelter in case there is a death. Does your dog financially support you?

There’s no such thing as a teacup yorikie. Yorkies only come in one size. http://www.akc.org/breeds/yorkshire_terrier/index.cfm
Your pet-quality dog is not worth $2000 in monetary value. She is probably priceless to you as a pet, but monetarily not worth that much money.
And there is no life insurance for dogs. You can get pet insurance to help with medical bills, but not life insurance. (Health insurance pays part of medical bills while you’re alive. Life insurance pays out upon death.)

abbyful has said it far better than i could! Teacup yorkie = runt of the litter. Worth $2,000 in your imagination! Did you pay that amount for the runt of the litter? You must of been conned. What do you want life insurance for? Its Assurance if you want life cover, not insurance. Try typing "dog life assurance" in google.

Sorry sweetheart, but "teacups" are a silly made-up name for undersized dog and no undersize dog is worth $2000! The BYB who duped you into believing you have a special dog did so just to make you part with much more money than you would have don if you had got a healthy, happy, well-reared, well-bred puppy from a highly reputable conformation breeder !
See the link below:
Pet insurance, covers health, accident, third party liability and death, some also cover boarding fees for the dog if you are hospitalised.
If you want something different, then ask around the insurance comnpanies.

I have yet to hear of Life Insurance for a dog … health yes, life no.
Teacup is a size … not part of the breed and I hope you got a warantee from the breeder saying that it would get no larger than 5 lbs. as an adult!!!
If your dog is as valuable as you say it is … perhaps your should contact Lloyds of London … they insure unusual things and provide unusual types of coverage!

There are companies that sell pet life insurance but you will probably have to buy it from a property and casualty company rather than a life insurance company. Life insurance companies usually only work with human lives. Pets are usually classified as property in the insurance world.
It is designed to replace and reimburse costs from the death of an expensive pet or pets with expensive training, food, etc.
Vsurance is a company that I’ve seen selling life and health plans for pets. I’m not endorsing them. I just found them through a search.
If this is something that you really want to pursue then you might go to a dog show and talk to some owners who have hi priced dogs and see what they do to protect their investments.
