what would an average motorcycle cost for me? i am looking for a ball-park estimate and understand that there are MANY other factors which matter…

If anyone has an idea, what would be like the MAX price for a good … i’ve seen that prices can range from 200-400 yearly, but i want to make sure that after i get the motorcycle i dont find that the insucance is like 1000 /yr.

    200 – 400 is high but that’s because it’s likely a monthly rate. you’d
    probably be paying, at the very least, 100 per month but, in any case
    go to your local insurance broker or look one up in the phone book.
    Lastly be safe buddy and take proper certifications and training before ever buying a bike … they’re dangerous, as you may know.

    Respectfully, start calling insurance companies for rate quotes.
    I use Progressive.
    Also take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation rider school. That will help with your insurance rates.
    Your age with it’s associated extreme lack of experience and the fact you are a male will work against you when seeking insurance.
    And the fact you are more likely to get hurt in a motorcycle accident than in a car accident. Hospital bills can run into the 6 figures to cover a medical injury. Totaling a car will only cost the insurance company replacement cost minus deductible and depreciation.
    Most likely your costs could be upwards of $1500 to $2000 a year.
