Universal Health Care Gains Popularity
This policy has gained fame due to the effort of the former president Bill Clinton. Although this plan was considered a failure, it made many American think about the health care plan. This was considered as the cure to Americans health care crisis. According to the reports it has been estimated that there are more than around 41-50 million people in the United States who do not have a health insurance plan.
What is it?
This is also referred as single payer system, national health care or united health care system. This is akin to the U.S. Medicaid health care program which covers insurance to the low income people. But the only difference is it covers for the citizen of America.

Each country has its own way to make its citizen to accomplish the task of insurance. It is an excellent plan and proves to be cost effective for the U.S citizens. It has both pros and cons.
Advantages
Under this plan it would ensure that all the citizens of the country are covered under the health care policy and will prove cost effective too. This will also save more money to the government to great extent.
Disadvantages
Tax will increase and private insurance companies will have to face a downfall.
This policy is mainly aimed to ensure that all Americans are covered with the health insurance policy.
