That is difficult to say. there are many factors that go into pricing of life insurance such as age, gender, general health, occupation and location. Also the type of life insurance you buy greatly affects the price.
You’re best option is to speak with an independent agent (ie one who can write insurance from a variety of companies) in your area (or a national agency) and compare policies and prices. Often times, the cheapest policy isn’t the best for you….but only you can make that decision. Use the agent, or speak with several agents, to make the most informed decision for you.

That’s good to hear about you wanting to purchase life insurance. You are to be commended.
Call your auto agent, if yours is a local agent. Stay away from those internet or TV only companies, and get a good local, professional agent.
Buy from a company that has an A.M. Best rating of A- to A++. These companies are rated Excellent to Superior in their financial status and claims-paying abilities.
Have an agent do a Financial Need Analysis (FNA) to help you determine how much life insurance, disability income, and a savings vehicle you need to meet your goals.

I have found that it pays to shop around for whatever you are looking to buy. It used to be a real hassle to do that though, however the Internet has greatly simplfied the process, in fact there are now websites that will do the comparisons for you.
