My brother’s girlfriend just turned nineteen and had to be taken to the hospital for a ruptured cyst. When taken to the doctor the day after, they said they had to perform more tests which would cost 900 dollars. They wanted the money up front. She has no and doesn’t qualify for medicaid. What can she do? We live in Georgia.

    I’m sorry to hear about this situation. Has she tried actually getting health insurance?
