The rates vary by age, location, fire district and amount of insurance and optional coverage chosen. On a rate per 1000 the rates are higher than for a typical homeowners but the rate is applied against a smaller amount of insurance.

Rates are pages and pages and pages. I don’t think you’re expecting someone to type in 30 pages of data for hard rates!
To find out how much mobile home insurance is for YOU, you have to call and get a few quotes. Foremost and American Modern are two insurance companies that do write insurance on mobile homes. There are others, too.

Depends where you live but the rates are ALWAYS higher. Usually the rates are 150%-250% higher than if it wasnt a mobile home. The reason is insurance companies figure people in mobile homes are less responsible and more prone to fires, floods, and crime. I mean if they were responsible they would have a higher paying job and not be living in a mobile home right? Higher risk = higher rates
