Do most life insurance policies include motorcycle exclusions or increase premium if you own motorcycle. I do NOT want to end up with an invalid policy.

Want to buy life insurance but will it cover motorcycle accidents?
My husband has a motorcycle. Just bought it. I would like to take out a life insurance policy so I can afford our home or his funeral if someone texting on their cell phone kills him.

Easier to ask the insurance company rather than us. Different companies may have different policies re: motorcycles, although I wasn’t aware it was difficult to get life insurance for motorcycle riders.

You have to find out from the agent, then read the fine print. Usually life insurance pays unless it is an act of war, or something like that. You might want to look into term insurance–coverage drops over the years down to very little or zero. Covers you most when your financial need is greatest–small kids, big mortgage. Usually cheaper.
Be very careful. You can spend a fortune on life insurance based on the kind of plan. It’s more expensive if they tell you it’s a savings plan or you will get premiums back or pay forever. Read up on it and talk to several agencies who offer various companies’ policies. The agent’s income comes from the premium you pay. Get a policy you can drop without penalty if the paperwork doesn’t say it covers what you want covered. If it isn’t in writing, it won’t be covered. Buy from a company with a good, solid history of paying out claims.

Most will either include exclusions, or charge more for the extra exposure.
It IS a serious increase in your chances of death, riding a motorcycle.
Be honest on the application, and you won’t end up with a voided policy.

A lot of people get life insurance because a family member rides a motorcycle. Motorcycles are usually not excluded from the policy and usually there are no questions on the application about them. Most of the time motorcycles are covered.
Ask the agent to be sure.

It really depends on the company, some do some dont. Your best bet is to use a comparison website, you will be able to specify to include motorcycle rider cover.
Best one to use is lifeinsurancecompare their address is in my sources.
good luck.
