• Can an auto insurance company double your rate within 24 hours after they quoted you and made you pay?

  I got a quote from Progressive. They looked into my record and it went up a few hundred bucks, I was alright with that so I signed up. I even called to make sure everything was good and I was able to cancel my insurance with my previous auto insurance company. Within a day after processing, they doubled my rate.. and then some.. It basically went from 0 to ,450.. Are they allowed to do that?

   

• What auto insurance companies in CA, besides Progressive, look at 3 years (instead of 5) of driving history?

  Can anyone recommend auto insurance companies (for California) that only look at three years of driving history instead of five? Something other than Progressive. Thanks.

  I have a male friend who is middle aged & is paying close to 0 monthly for full coverage on his auto insurance that he has with Progressive.   I just got a lease on a 2010 Honda Civic. Its the first car ever in my name and was a bit pricey for me b/c I don’t have an extensive credit history. Progressive was the cheapest auto insurance I could find so I decided to try it.

   

• What homeowners and auto insurance do you recommend?

  I am shopping for homeowner’s and Auto insurance. Progressive is the cheapest, and I like the fact that they cover pets that are riding in your car too. I am looking at them as well as Ameriprise, and Amica. Allstate and Nationwide seemed high, State Farm and Gieco will not give me Earthquake coverage which is a must. Thank you.

  We are considering switching to Progressive auto and homeowners insurance. If you have an accident, will they drop you. If you have a home claim, will they drop you for that?

  Well this may sound like a long shot, but I just recently bought my son a 2000 Ford Mustang, Now its insurance time, hes 18, gets A’s in school and has had drivers ed. Why do the quotes from Progressive and esurance estimate its going to cost nearly 0 a month, even with a 1990 honda junker it still cost nearly 0 do these prices seem reasonable, i cant recall them being that high, when i first got insurance, thanks.

  well i am 19 i am looking for a auto insurance company. i have a 2003 4runner. so what insurance company did you get at my age. and which would you recommend to me? preferably an insurance that is cheap
  my father paid like 130 per month for this car under his insurance (but he is old lol)

  I’m well aware that New Jersey has high auto insurance, but I wanted to know does anyone have an recommendations on an affordable auto insurance.   I have been a licensed 2-20 Insurance Agent for a year now. I’m currently looking for auto insurance companies that are appointing in Florida. Any names and phone numbers of these companies would be a big help.

  Seminoles
  I need some more companies so that I am not only limited to these four. By the way I am in the SW Florida area.

• motorcycle insurance?

  i was upset that Progressive said they would only give me 12 month insurance coverage for my motorcycle but they allow you to get 6 month coverage for your truck and you drive that year round and a cycle for only 5-6 months out of the year. thats backwards. thats BS! anyways..i thought about paying the full 12 month amount because you save a little money doing it but this time i going to just do the month to month. has anyone ever payed the month to month then when the riding season ends (like here in Wisconsin at the end of October) cancel your policy? i dont like paying for insurance for something when its not in use at all.

   

• Can an employer charge different rates for the same health insurance based on the employee's income?

  My employer is instituting a progressive health insurance rate plan. The more money you make, the more you pay for the same benefit. Is this legal?
