  How do life insurance policies work? Can you get them at any age? Can you get them at any amount? Say you’re 30, single, no kids and want to take a two million dollar whole life policy…is that allowed? Any good information would be appreciated.

  My life insurance go to spouse but if we are both gone 98% goes to son and 2 % to others. Should this beneficiary be to the estate of mine or directly to sons name? Do not want it held up in probate

  I’m looking for a life insurance policy that insures 2 people with just 1 policy (like a husband-wife policy). So that if 1 dies, the survivor becomes the beneficiary.
  I was thinking if we get 2 separate insurance policies, and 1 dies, all the previous payments of the survivor will just go to waste, since the beneficiary/spouse is gone.

It is unknown if the tile roof is original (40 years old) or if it has been replaced sometime in the past (no permit was on file).   I am buying my first home and wondered if it’s true (I’ve read several articles saying it is, but my attorney and realtor both never heard of it):

  Shopping around for a homeowners title insurance policy vs. just going with whomever the mortgage company/lendor selects at closing.

  I was told by my mortgage broker that he’s never heard of it either and by his account, it is generally a standard fee across the industry. Am I the only intelligent one of this bunch, or am I reading all the wrong websites?

  I plan on calling my property insurance company and see if they also offer Homeowners Title Insurance policies and how much they charge to compare.
