  If you are a life insurance agent, what company do you work with, and are you making good money in this economy?

   

• Question regarding Homeowners Insurance for any Insurance Agents/CSRs?

  On the basic HO policy unattached structures are automatically cover usually at 10% of the covered policy amount. Is this per unattached structures or is it one coverage for all unattached? (i.e. a Barn valued at ,000 and Tool Shed valued at ,000 – and the HO policy is covered for 0,000 – will the coverage for the Barn and Tool Shed be ,000 or ,000?)   Paid the premium to my insurance agent, who also has my house and my term life policy. Question is, how do they get paid. If a agent has say….3500 customers he/she is insuring, do they get paid from the premiums or some other way. Just curious more than anything else. Would be nice to hear from an insurance agent…

  I have 6 years experience at various A+ Best rated companies.
  This product is for an MGA.

  If any of the democrats get into office they seem determined to create universal healthcare system. What will happen to the 500,000+ people that work in the health insurance industry? I am a registered democrat that plans to vote republican if the democrats keep on with this universal healthcare.

  Are the fuel suppliers libel in your state and mine? Auto insurance agents are being vague when asked this question,
  If so, auto insurance sales amount to un lawful soliciting and an un necessary purchase. Whats your state say? In Texas some fuel suppliers insure every customer, where do you buy your gas and does the consumer know? If its a law and we must carry proof of insurance, is a gasoline receipt proof enough? Thank you to all the fuel suppliers in Texas that do have insurance for all their Customers.

• Why Defensive Driving Course Certificate can’t be used to get an auto insurance discount in Texas?

  I passed this course in the middle of 2007 and got this certificate, but i can’t use it as one of discount factors when i am gonna to buy an auto insurance. The licensed auto insurance agents told me that Defensive Driving Course Certificate can’t be used to get more auto insurance discounts for Texas? Why? It’s so weird. So, why Texans need to take that course besides for a court when i got a speeding ticket?

  What’s the average for starting license auto insurance agents? Do they only make commision or hourly too? Are the leads provided. Is it a hard industry to get into?

   

• What type of life insurance do you have and why you have it?

  I used to own whole life insurance until I learned the hard way about the truth behind it. A life agent said cash value was a great way to build savings for retirement and that I can use it anytime. That sounded pretty great and so me and my husband bought it. About 28 years later, he died in an accident. The life insurance paid the death claim about 30 days after I filed a claim. But all the cash value was gone! With the cash value, I could of used it for my retirement.

  So now I got rid of my whole life and paid a surrender charge on the cash value. The mortgage is paid off and no one is dependant on my income anymore. So I don’t need life insurance. I moved about ,000 of cash value into various investments.

  All I have to say to people buying life insurance is do your own research about life insurance before listening to life insurance agents.
