• Insurance claim for exterior water pipe leak?

  My neighbors and I all have periodic water line leaks (residential), and since we live on a cul de sac it’s our problem not the city’s. We’ve been told the pipe manufacturer settled a class action suit years ago, and we missed the cutoff. Again, this is private property not city property, so the problem is ours!

  Does homeowners insurance cover water line replacement in such a case?

  This was a long time ago,,, and now they want me to come in for a personal deposition.. I do not like attorney’s and I do not want to do this.. I’d much rather just not press it and cease the claim.. How do I do this? I do not trust insurance companies and simply want to drop the whole thing.. Any thoughts will be appreciated.Yes, I know it makes me look like I have something to hide, but I really don’t care. So I need no lectures on that account.
  I’ve accepted no money from them whatsoever. Nor do I want anything from them. I no longer want to persue this claim at all, and I need to know if they can force me to go to this deposition, or if I can just stop the claim.. Thanks for your thoughts on this.. I have so many other things going on at this time, that I do not need any more confusion in my life.

  He was walking by his house with one dog on leash other dog without….dog without came up to me as I was walkin by and sniffed me I let him didnt touch him man called him back……..other dog on leash lept at me as i was walkin by them bite me in the knee on side ……….Hes a jerk dont wanna pay my bills!!
  He never asked me if I was ok or anything…we both just kept walkin he lived around the corner………i didnt realize I was bit (OUT OF FEAR AS I WAS SCARED) But half a block down I felt it burning..got home it was a bite so no i didnt over act …i didnt know if wed find the man and his dogs!!I cross guartd a block away and am very nervous now being over there as I have bad anxiety!

  I am licensed in GA for property & casualty insurance, so I know credit is used to help determine rates for auto & homeowners insurance, but it is considered in health insurance?

  Had trees cut down last year. Either the fall of the trees or the large equipment appears to have busted some of our drail field (we started seeing moisture standing in one spot). The yard is not soft in areas but no odor . Does this sound like the drain field (we had septic tank pumped last year). if so, it it something that homeowners insurance would cover?

  me and my family had a fire in july of 2008 and our homeowners insurance dropped us after the claim was over. now we are having major difficulty obtaining homeowners insurance. is there anybody that knows of a insurance company that takes people with these issues? we also live in indiana

  I thought I heard somewhere that if my house is over 100 years old and has never had a flood, that if it does flood my homeowners insurance is supposed to cover any flood damage. If anyone knows anything about it and has and official source I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

• Storm damage claim – Should I file Flood Insurance or Homeowners?

  We had a limb drop on our shed today during a storm which made a hole in the roof. We have a 00 deductible on our homeowner’s policy which we haven’t met and we have a separate flood insurance policy from Uncle Sam. Bottom line: this is our first year in the house and we don’t have enough money to cover our deductible now thanks to Murphy and his stupid law. EVERYTHING has broken in this house this year and unluckily for us, Homeowners insurance hasn’t helped at all. Will Flood insurance issued by the Govt. cover the roof on this shed or are we straight-up screwed?
