This whole process put me through a lot of hassle. All the Life insurance Company is saying that "It was an administrative mistake and we have re-instated your policy." Having gone through the agony, I don’t thing just "sorry" is enough.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

If you suffered a loss of money, loss of time from work, or mental anguish that can be verified, you may have a leg to stand on.
If not, move on, realize people make mistakes, and stop looking to advance your life with a possible suit you will not win.

I myself worked in insurance but never seen any incident like this. Your insurance agent should come and help you and if it doesn’t work out, he should tell you what to do.
Now, sometimes bad things can happen and it may not be intentional. Since you have already approached the state, state knows the issue and based on complaint they had in past they usually takes appropriate action. You can check on state website and see how many complaints they had against this insurance company. If you think this was intentional and/or you have had any financial lost, then you can obviously can get an attorney and take them to court. In general, state usually do not like financial companies doing anything wrong with the consumers. I am sure they would have taken some action if they found anything wrong.

You’re hinting that you want to sue them for the hassle. The problem is, you haven’t had any LOSS. The policy has been reinstated.
Yes, people make mistakes, and so do computers. It’s been fixed. Just because something goes not as planned in your life, doesn’t mean you’re entitled to a cash payout.
