What kind of questions are they going to pose me at the interview for the position of financial representative by Northwestern Mutual. I know that they sell life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and employee benefit services.

Every company uses different interview styles. Targeted Selection is a behavioral based interview style that has been around for awhile but is gaining in popularity because of its reliability. Well, it would be plenty of questions, but some most critial questions are. 1/ why do you want to do this kind of job? if so, what make you think that you will do good at it. 2/ what qualities you have that make you different or better than other people? 3/ what is your weakness?

I work in the financial industry, and all my interviews seemed to have focused around a core of questions, like:
"Describe a time that you were in conflict with a co-worker, and how did you solve the problem."
"Give us a time that you had to explain a complex idea to a naive customer." – very likely.
"Give us an example of when you had to use multiple resources and work with multiple parties to complete a task or solve a problem."
The key is to give them specific examples, and what you did. To a certain extent they will ask about experience, but mainly they will be deciding if you are a good fit. I think my current situation had less to do with my education and experience then it did with complementary skills and personality.

Sounds like an entry-level financial sales position… which means the interview will be all about your personality, drive, and ambition.
