Any loophole or way out of this other than the obvious (dropping personal injury, comprehnsive, etc.)
For example an insurance company that gives you discounts if you stick with them for a long time and continue driving good (if this is even legal)?

Is there any loophole to get out of ridiculous car insurance rates due to your age/gender?
I’ve been free of any at fault accidents for a decade, one of the best drivers on the road, still paying 0 a month on an old car because insurance companies can only look at the last 3 years. No discount for 10 years accident-free driving all that matters is I’m a 28 year old guy.

There are voluntary classes you can take that will lower your rates. Talk with your insurance agent.
If they aren’t helpful google it.

Believe it or not, your credit rating can affect your insurance rate. So check that. You can get a discount if you have your renters or homeowners with the same company that has your auto insurance. You can go to many websites and compare insurance rates. Yes, you do get discounts for a long history with the company, and you do get lower rates for being an accident free driver. Unfortunately, though, most of it is a matter of math. More men in their 20s have accidents and tickets than women, and more than older drivers. Less than teenagers… it’s like women having higher health insurance rates in their 20s and 30s, as it is assumed they will get pregnant. Men have higher life insurance rates, because they generally die earlier. Some things you just have to suck up.

I think since it is a law, every vehicle registered through the government should be insured through the government unless the vehicle is unable to be driven for whatever reason. It could be something added to taxes or paid monthly. However, that is not the case. Although it is legally mandated, insurance agencies are private business. They have to make money even from the good drivers holding their policies to pay for the 18 year old drunk drivers that kill 4 in a car wreck and it costs 15 Million. There is no way to get around this besides starting your own insurance agency. Sorry
But if you ever do start one, let me know!

I would do some comparable shopping around. If your record is good and clean, you have no tickets or accidents I would look around. I switched companies and am saving $60 a month on insurance. Ask your current insurance what kind of deals they have because you are looking at switching companies. I bet they may have one or two in there for you.

In Ontario, most companies offer a loyalty discount for being with the same company or broker for an extended period of time.
Could also be the car you have, some vehicles are considered higher risk, so the rates are higher,
Your age, accident rating, and ticket history are all factors, marital status and sex (male or female) are also take into consideration.
