I would like to find out if any of my distant relatives have taken out a life
insurance policy on my life after my father died intestate, and I and two brothers inherited the estate according to the rules of succession in the State of Texas? I’ve already had several difficulties in the past, and I am well aware of how some can actually get away with this sort of thing due to their influential connections.

Why should it bother you? A life insurance policy does not mean that they have a claim on your estate when you die. It means they get a payment from the insurance company that issued the policy if something happened to you.
Anyone can take out a life insurance policy on anyone else, as long as the insurance company will issue a policy.

MIB offers a service that allows consumers to check for life insurance policies. It’s usually used to locate policies for deceased relatives, but I think it may serve the purpose that you have.

It’s not easy to take a life insurance policy out on someone without their consent and if they have it would be insurance fraud. Be sure to notify the insurance company and report them to the authorities if you find out they have taken out a policy in your name.
