I feel it is my own responsibility to pay to see a doctor and cover my monthly prescription. I just need a health company that will pay my medical bills if I need an operation or I have some horrible disease that causes me to be in the hospital often. Is there a program out there like this.

health-quotes.isgreat.org – here is my health insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.

I always pay in cash for medical service. I don’t have, nor do I want insurance.

a lot of them will not accept government coverage because they want to get paid…they also do not like the violent riffraff that tend to be on govcare

well mavis, i am sure you never had heard of a catastrophic policy. cus if you had, you would have the policy. but, in as much as you are compelled to ask the question, i would have to suppose you haven’t a clue. have a meaningless day.

    Sure.

Most every insurance company has a catastrophic policy.

Basically, you choose a high deductible. For instance, you can choose a policy that only pays if your bill exceeds 10K. Anything under that, you would pay yourself.

Saves you a lot of money.

Well, I’m not sure if an insurance company won’t pay those costs for you. But what you can do is choose a Health Savings Account Plan (HSA) type of plan with a higher deductible, but choose a 100% In Network Plan.

With this type of plan you would pay all costs up to your deductible limits (therefore in essence you’ll cover the cost of your visits). After you reach your deductible limit the coverage covers all coverage at 100%.

In addition, most HSA type plans would also provide 100% coverage for preventive screening/care before even going into your deductible. But all carriers are different and coverage will vary.

Look into and it may save you some money on the back end while providing great coverage for you when you need it most.

    Good Luck
