I just bout 2 motorcycles and I am looking for a cheap place to get insurance through… Any suggestions??????

It’s a 2007 yamaha and a 2005 suzuki, and I’m not getting anywhere with these insurance quotes. They are outrageous!!!
I live in Michigan and the cheapest I’ve found it recently is 00 a year, and the other quotes just went up from there.

I’m placed with Progressive Insurance by my agent, Marketing Direct. I asked for minimum legal insurance for California — waiving ‘uninsured motorist’ coverage and anything having to do with repairing my motorcycle.
My cost is $75/year. I am 47 years old, ride a 1985 Yamaha Virago 700. No claims on motorcycle policies, have been insured with Progressive since the mid-90s. My motorcycle is parked in Los Angeles California, used for commute, less than 11,000 miles/year.

Mine is pretty cheap through Progressive $200 Dollars a year , Florida has no mandatory Insurance Law, Just the Finance Company Makes you have it before the Bike can leave the Building .Check your State to see if you have to have It

move to Canada lol!!
but i got the same sort of quotes from my agent (who i dealt with car insurance) not sure if it works the same in the USA but a insurance company that only deals with motorcycles is your best bet. mine went from $2100 to $910

Trust me go to state farm all my other quotes were in the 600 a month but state farm quoted me at 240 a month because they go by the amount of cc’s rather than the type of bike you have.

I had progressive insurance until I got a quote from Geico. Geico saved me $150, now I pay 185 per year for a Honda Goldwing and a Harley Sportster full coverage on both. Keep your motorcycles on a separate policy from your cars with separate companies. I have found that the ones who wanted to quote me for all my vehicles was extremely high. You didn’t mention the type of bike these are, if they are high speed sportbikes (ia crotchrockets) then expect higher rates. Insurance companies know bikers riding these bikes do so at a high rate of speed whizzing in and out of cars and almost touching their knees to the ground when cornering. Most people buying sportbikes don’t take this into consideration when buying. Insurance companies consider this high risk and therefore rates are much higher. Good luck on your search. BTW don’t believe the Progressive hype, "We compare rates to see if other companies are lower, and let you know." In my case they told me that the were the lowest cost I could get, I met a Gieco rep at a rally and found out they could do better.
