I do not own a car.Is there someway for me to get an auto insurance?

I am 28 years old and do not own a car. However, I rent car very often and every time the insurance cost is very high. Is there someway I could get an auto-insurance, say for 6 months or so at a time? What is the usual cost for it? What are the best agencies?

If you rent a car so often why don’t you just use all the money you’re spending on it and buy a cheap $1,000 car? To sign up for car insurance though you actually have to insure the car you’ll be driving which you’ll need to VIN number. If it’s a different car every time that doesn’t belong to you then nobody is going to insure you. Depending on your driving history you can get pretty inexpensive insurance though if you buy a $1,000 car. You can possibly get liability for under $50 a month.

No you don’t have to own a car. Although to insure yourself as a driver is pretty expensive because you don’t have a certain car to drive every day. The way I know this is I am required to have SR-22 insurance for 3 yrs due to a DUI and recently sold my car. Just call Progressive and tell them you need to insure yourself as a driver but do not corrently own a car. I don’t know how much it will my per month for you but I’m high risk and paying $125 a month.
