How to get health insurance for my unborn daughter?

I’m 22. I have health insurance coverage under my parents (it’s just better insurance than I could get on my own, that’s why I’ve kept it). However, I am pregnant and need to find insurance for my daughter for when she’s born. Under my current insurance, I am covered but she is not.
My question is, what should I do? Any advice?

When she is born, you should be able to put her under you, but seeing as you mother is the keeper on your insurance (correct?) your mother would have to add her under your insurance while you are under her. My mom had to do the same thing with my daughter.

Speak to your current health insurance provider, your parents provider, and see what they can offer. Then look around at other companies and compare what you can get to see who provides the best cover at an affordable price?
It might work out better for you to come off your parents cover and for you and your daughter to get your own? Shop around, make phone calls and see what is out there.
