Insurance rates are based off a number of determinants, not just your age, but also the year and make the bike, how far you drive it, your driving history, what type of coverage you want, whether you carry any additional coverage with the company, etc. Even your credit rating often gets figured into the rate you will receive.

I recommend calling or checking out some insurance agencies on line. It shouldn’t take to long for them to give you a ball park estimate after you answer a few more specific questions.

    Hi dude,

I’m a biker from the uk.

I have no idea what the answer is to your question.

The best thing to do is pick a selection of bikes you can afford and ring around for insurance and just get some hypothetical quotes.

    You’ll soon get an idea.

E-mail me i’ve been biking ten years I might be able to help you pick something and give you some tips

    Good luck dude
