How much is motorcycle insurance?
Soon I’ll be looking to get an ‘08 or ‘09 CBR 600 rr. I’m 21, own a car, never been ticketed or anything else in my car. Wondering if that affects my rates at all, or if "21 with a sportbike = brain splatter" just registers on their screen.

depends on what company you go with…age / popular bike / annual crash % / your driving record effects the rate
a quick 5 min phone call to your local insurance agents will give you more accurate rates…they’ll let you customize what you want cover
ex: liability only, full coverage, theft, natural disasters etc.

Depending on which auto insurance you have now and where you live some insurance companies vary in comparsion for motorcycle insurance.
Your best bet is talk to your insurance agent and he or she will tell you the facts on motorcycle insurance could be the same coverage as a car insurance or maybe a little less like if you get full coverage like theft, personal injury, properity damage, etc.
Or if you have google space bar on your task bar then google "motorcycle insurance" and get the facts there and the pricing

full coverage will be outrageous. just a guess but $1500+ a year.
i’m 29 and only pay $150 a year for liability. on a cbr 600

It depends on your driving record. I would guess about 1000-1500 a year.
