My wife and I run our own small business can we qualify for a group health insurance plan?

    Usually the minimum is 2, as long as you are both on the payroll and keep payroll records. But having said that there are many options for small business owners you should speak with an agent who can show you all of the options available to you.

    There are group plans for groups of 2-50 employees. If you are both employees of the business (not just owners) and the business is in a state that has the small employer plans that I mentioned, then you might qualify.

    It depends on what state you are in. You’ll have to talk to your agent. It’s possible that you WILL qualify – however – small groups are STILL individually underwritten and rated.
