My lapse when I became unemployed.I cant afford .Does anyone know how long it take the company to report this to dmv in NJ?

    Not sure about the USA but in the UK, within 24 hours your registration number is on the ANPR system fitted to most traffic cars.
    Sorry, but you can’t afford NOT to have valid car insurance.
