That poor insurance company had to pay $20,000 because the doctor had to charge that much to pay his insurance?

Well, emergency room use certainly didn’t go down, costs went up, doctors are starting to reject the public plan, availability of service has gone down, and benefits are being cut.

Why was this used as a template for Obamacare again?

Oh yeah, insurance companies and drug companies like it.

That must be why they were at the table drafting it, while citizen opposition is demonized.

Smart people up there. Why do they keep electing dummies?

But what about all the people who cannot afford insurance or a fine and don’t meet the state’s needs’ testing?

I am NOT for what our Politicians are planning for us. In the House Version, as I am sure it is in all other bills coming forth that…….

The Federal Government is mandating electronic ACCESS to all personal bank accounts, retirement accounts, etc. In this way, our Federal Government can deduct whatever amount they say, for procedures that may not be covered, for the insurance itself, You will be FINED if you do not sign up for health insurance, this too will be autimatically deducted from one of your accounts………….. and the list goes a mile long.

I personally will drain all our accounts, and put in just enough money when I go to pay my bills. I DON’T want any Government bureaucracy having my bank acct information at all, NEVER.

    Melisa Baker:

I’d rather have a healthy lifestyle and receive free single-payer universal coverage. I don’t mind paying the cost for most Americans who abuse themselves through lack of exercise and through gorging on unhealthy foods. I’d rather give to the poor than subsidize fat cat insurance corporations.

Wouldn’t it be a great change if high school physical education classes actually taught healthy lifestyles and diets?

Wouldn’t it be great if PBS would show how to prepare low fat vegetarian dishes instead of the heart-attack fare they show?

Wouldn’t it be great if schools removed the soda pop and candy machines from schools instead of profiting from the soda pop/candy companies?

Wouldn’t it be great if the doctors prescribed lifestyle changes instead of more and more drugs? Over 50% of the prescription drugs taken in the world are taken in the US.

Wouldn’t it be great if a healthy lifestyle was modeled on the TV show 2 1/2 Men?

How did you get a job as a paid blogger supporting the interests of the health insurance industry?

    Does it pay well?

Is a frontal lobe lobotomy required?

Doesn’t the mandatory health insurance legislation in Massachusetts protect the insurance companies enough?
