I want to save on …..what factors can lower your rate? I need to know things such as an alarm, and kept in the garage, but what other factors can help me getting a low rate?

Thanks everyone

You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

    Go to: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=616165&Type=auto

    Take care,

Get an old(er) crappyish car…the slower the better. Also be a safe driver and try to get on the honor roll if you’re in school. All of those things can help.

Shop around different companies. Their rates vary a lot. Most companies will give you quotes online, making shopping pretty easy.

    Get low coverage limits.

Buy cars that are four door, that have smaller engines, high saftey ratings, and low theft ratings, then once you have narrowed your list to the car that you want shop for insurance.

The area of town that you live in, the make/model/yr of the car, what options you have stereo/wheels/tires/rims, do you have turbo or sport in your car’s description, engine size, having poor grades in school, getting tickets. If you do the opposite of these, you will get lower rates, shop around alot, rates will vary crazily.
