How do i get to my life insurance policy?

I Im in a tough situation financially. may lose my apartment. I am 34 years old and my uncle is withholding the life insurance policy that my grandparents left for me. I am not sure how to proceed. I dont know the carrier of the policy or how much it is worth, but anything would help. any suggestions as to how i can get this info? my uncle will not disclose anything about it, or how i can access it. i am single have no children so i am not concerned with leaving money behind for someone else which is why i want ti get my policy. thanks

    Your best bet is to get a lawyer involved. The policy is legally yours and you have the right to it.
