No, homeowners insurance covers only liability arising from an accident on a residential property—a kid falling out of a tree or a neighbor slipping and falling in your home. Even damage to an automobile that occurs on your property is excluded from homeowners insurance coverage. You need automobile insurance for damage to your automobile, in your automobile, or caused by your automobile.

Insurance is a tangled topic. All depends on the areas in the policy. The homeowners stuff covers or does not cover incidents that occur on the real property or real estate.
A million lines of fine print later, some people found out that the policies they had paid for fifteen or twenty years did NOT cover the conveyance that was parked on the street in front of the real estate. Others found that it did.
Usually no. Homeowners covers the Real Estate or property implied as owned.
There are so many acts of God in a policy that I sometimes wonder why they do not get tax exempt status as a religion.

No.
The liability coverage on your homeowners is for the liability that arises out of the ownership, maintenance or use of your residential premises.
The liability coverage on your auto policy is for the liability that arises out of the ownership, maintenance or use of your residential premises.
You can not inter-change the two.

Personal liability on your homeowners policy is for liability for NON auto related incidents, the liability is always for on premises & in most cases (especially with Chubb) it is worldwide. It will NEVER cover anything auto related. Medical payments on your homeowners is to OTHERS, never to yourself & also NEVER auto related.
Only liability on your auto policy is for auto related liability. Medical payments on your auto policy is for you & your passengers (& possibly others depending on your state laws).
Get auto insurance now before you drive again. Also, if you have Chubb insurance for your home, you have a large home (they usually only insure large homes – last I checked they won’t insure a house worth less than $500,000) & you have a lot to lose.

No, they cover separate things. Auto liability has to come from an auto policy.
