My friend recently got diagnosed with uterine cancer. She is only 26 years old and does not have health . She cannot afford the diagnostic procedure they want to do to remove the cancer. (D and C?) Is there any program that you know of that can help her? Her daughter is on medical.

most states have emergency catastropic medicaid. she can call her county health department, or talk to the social service department at the hospital in her community. there are a few programs out there. this is another reason to pass universal health care. how awful. im sorry.

    1) Most US hospitals can’t deny treatment on ability to pay
    2) She should apply for state Medicaid

Unless she has children I don’t think she can receive Medi-Cal…she may be eligible for the program our hospital offers called M.I.A. or Medically Indigent Adult…BUT tell her to at least TRY for Medi-Cal…Good Luck

go to ur job center (wher u get m.a.) it takes 4 months to get but it starts right away n they pay the back bills. my friend got a lung removed 6 months ago-she just got her card n they paid it all.

Diagnostic procedures do not remove cancer. They diagnose problems.

I’ve never heard of a D and C as a treatment for uterine cancer. A D and C (dilation and curettage) is what you do for an abortion or after a miscarriage.

She needs to talk to her doctor about what she should do.

Tell her to use flax seed oil and cottage cheese
