I was just being dumb today and I parked in a neighborhood where you can’t park. I accept the fact that I was in the wrong and all that. The fine is . What I’m most concerned with is whether or not it will increase my car insurance rate. My first thought was no, because it was a parking violation, not a driving violation. But considering how crazy car insurance companies are, I just am not sure. Any help? Thanks in advance.

Only movingviolations will affect your risk and therefore your insurance rates. Parking tickets are not moving violations.

No. Parking tickets won’t raise your insurance.
