    In many jurisdictions medical coverage is required by law, so even "liability only" policies would cover injury. They do vary, so the best thing to do is check the policy or ask your agent.

    a decent insurance company can tailor the insurance coverage to what you want it to.
    Only thing not negotiable is the state/government required levels to be able to register and tag your bike.
