does anyone know the best car insurance to buy from with just the minimum required?
i am so sick of car insurance companies taking advantage of people with these super high prices just because the dumb law says you have to have insurance.

It’s not the "dumb" law that drives the rates up it’s terrible drivers and insurance fraud! Try Progressive, Geico, or Unitrin. They seem to be the lowest at the current moment!

Do YOU want some idiot to bash into you and then blink innocently at you as he says he has no insurance and he just wrecked your 10,000 car?
If you have a good record– as in, you dont have a bunch of tickets, the minimum coverage is really pretty reasonable.

If people would take financial responsibility for their acts there wouldn’t have to be laws legislating coverage for them, but since they don’t, there is. And there is nothing in the least dumb about needing to take financial responsibility for your own actions.
You can just do the state minimum, and be out of pocket if you do cause an accident, or you can get an umbrella policy for a very few dollars more that will adequately cover you.
Unless you have shoe box full of tickets and several at fault accidents insurance rates are not super high.
Find an independent agent and find what is best for your under your circumstances.
