it really depends on ur driving record

Completely depends on your credit score, demographics, and driving record. If your parents have a good record go with them the discounts and bundles are huge savings. If you live in an area that doesn’t have a lot of accidents anyway (i see you montana) then go local. That way your not paying down everyone else’s rate.

This really cannot be answered because there are so many factors that go into your premium (age, sex, make, model, credit score, mileage, plus many more) and each company handles these factors differently.

The cheapest company for you could very likely be the most expensive company for someone else.

I would quote with several different insurance companies online. Also, go to an agent and quote with them. With many companies, their online prices could be different from their agency prices. If you go to an independant agent, they can quote you with several different companies. A captive agent (nationwide, state farm, etc.) only sells one company. When you are quoting, use the same limits/deductibles at each company so you are comparing apples to apples.

As a starter, check out http://www.jdpower.com and maybe start at the top of their list of top insurers for customer satisfaction and go from there.

Insurance depends on where you live. If you live in California, there is no insurance company that has ever beat or can come close to WAWANESA. They only write in California. What another companies charge for 6 months will buy you a full year of coverage with Wawanesa.
The only other thing you can do is go on line and ask for quotes from the companies.
