I just turned 17, and im gonna be learning to drive soon, but once I have learnt to drive, I can’t afford the insurance, as its about £2000. But someone I know got their car insurance for £600, and he was a boy. Anyone know somewhere I can get insurance for about £1000 instead of £2000. Ive been on all the comparison websites, and everything is just way too much, but not all the insurance companies are on the price comparison website.

you are 17, and first time buying insurance, $2000 is not expensive actually. I live in brooklyn, New York, for a kid like you to buy auto insurance, even its liability, it costs around $3800, and if full coverage, its at least $6000, but its new york, if you live in states like georgia or pensylvania, it could be much cheaper.
