• What is the difference between health insurance and travel insurance?

  I have a health insurance plan that covers me overseas in ANY country at ANY hotel. What would be the benefit of adding medical travel insurance, if any? I only found one link pertaining to this and it said travel insurance covers personal items and what not, but not any that I could afford.

  Does anyone have any experience with this?

  I had geico and my insurance lapsed. Everyone wants so much money now since i lapsed previously. Ive tried all the major companies. Does anyvody know of a cheap insurance that i can look into? Right now everyone wants around 7-800$ for 4 cars liability. Rediculous.

  My wife works at Red Lobster in Indiana, we are thinking of checking out the insurance they offer but we have a few weeks before open enrollment. We could get into it right away because I am loosing my insurance with my employer so we have certain circumstances which would allow this. Unfortunately, they don’t have any information for my wife on the details of the plans.

  So, my question is, does anyone know the details of the plans and where can we find that information? Is it good insurance and worth the price?

  I got a home from clayton homes that I had about ten years now . A they home insurance for a mobile home is riduclious and the insurance on my home go up every year and the name of their insurance ageny that they gave me was Home first agency inc. And their insurance is too high. Is their any other insurance company that will take insurance on a mobile home.

  It is said that Insurance companies shall pay a part of 660 Million $ paid on behalf of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles to settle Clergy Sex Abuse of children.

  I understand Insurance on Accidents as accidents do happen, but sexual abuse is intentional.

  I was recently hit by another car and both I had the passenger have terrible whiplash. How do I submit a claim for not only the medical costs but for compensation for the injury, do I need a lawyer or just go through the insurance company.

  This was in california.

  I want to buy some waverunners and rent them out, but can’t seem to find a source to get insurance which covers this. My local insurance guys can’t seem to help (they can give me personal insurance on the waverunners but it doesn’t cover renting.) Any pointer, places to start, or companies I can call?

  Ok so i was soposed to deploy with my unit and i had noone to leave my car with so i drove it home and left it with my wife and since she dont have a licence i tild her not to drive it and cancelled the insurance since it has been in her possesion she got her permit and started to drive it with no insurance now today she got into a wreck and the other driver said it was his fault how do i go about getting his insurance to fix my vehicle?

  I’m hearing more and more about positions with Insurance companies, where the base company is several states away but they hire someone to do local audits for their company, for example, someone living in South Carolina doing work for the company based out of Ohio. My question is, does anyone know where to find these positions? I’ve tried the basic jobsearch websites but they don’t typically seem to have positions like that listed.

  I have heard that when renting a car in America the insurance can be as much as the rental cost itself when organizing insurance through the rental car agency. I am traveling to the US and will be renting a car and am trying to figure out a batter way to get the "collision damage waiver insurance" other than paying the high insurance prices offered by car rental companies.

  Is pregnancy considered as a pre-existing condition for somebody to be denied of insurance coverage. esp maternity/delivery. And I will not have any lapse period of insurance coverage. My insurance from my old job is still good before I start my new job.

   

• What do I do if my car insurance lapsed without my knowledge?

  I need to get tags for my car this month, only when I called my car financing company to see how much it is, they told me that my insurance had lapsed, and my registration was suspended!! I had no idea, because my cousin had gotten the insurance for me (we are now estranged, and I don’t have any contact with her), and I was told by her the insurance expired in May. All my documments have been sent to her house (and she refuses to send me my mail) and I had no idea. Now, I’m terrified that I won’t be able to get my registration back, or pay fines, because I just barely have enough to get new insurance and pay for my tags. I have no proof that she bought insurance for me through May or anything. Does anyone else have had to go through this? What will happen? Please help!
  Ok, in lieu of a really nasty post, I must clarify something. I was living with my cousin. Cousin paid for 6 months of insurance (she has a discount, and I paid her back). Since I was living with her, I used her address. We had a falling out- I no longer speak to her, nor have plans to keep in touch. However, she refuses to send me my mail. My address has since been updated, AFTER notices were sent to my cousins house. I was being entirely truthful- you just didn’t read my post all the way through. please read through people’s posts before posting nasty replies. It’ll be greatly appreciated.

   

• How much does Home Owners Insurance cover when there has been a theft of property?

  My house was broken into and a lot of stuff was stolen. I have home owners insurance, but I was wondering if these companies are good at refunding what you lost or if they undervalue a lot. It was mostly electronics and guns that were stolen. I have some receipts, some were gifts, and some were old and I have since lost the reciept. What is their process and do they typically resolve these issues amicably?

  I want to pay voluntary national insurance payments for this tax year. I’ve looked at HMRCs website and it says that you can do it by quarterly payments or by direct debit but some of the dates specified for these payments have already passed. Is it possible to start paying voluntary national insurance for this tax year and just pay higher amounts or will I have to wait until the next tax year in April 2011.

   

• What Aviation insurance company do you recommend and why?

  I am a student pilot currently in training and should be ready to solo soon. I was wondering what insurance companies other pilots recommend and why. I would be just looking for renters insurance right now since I am not able to buy a plane yet. The plane I am flying now is probably valued at 50K and I have medical coverage for me and my family through the military.

  I am attending Career Day at the local school (grades K-6th) to educate them about the Insurance business. I have 8 minutes for each presentation and would like to keep it exciting to get kids interested in Insurance. What would you think a child would consider as exciting about this career?
