Don’t fall a prey to a scammer, who might use you for their fraud.

Given the uncertainty about the place and the time you might be a victim of their schemes, you need to educate yourself about the types of scams that are possible. Unfortunately, there are many ways they use.

These scammers might intentionally stop in front of the driver and hit the rear end of the car in such a way that it might look an accident and even more the fault of the innocent driver. Sometimes, even doctors and lawyers are part of the scams. You don’t know what kind of scams these people will use for you. You can only prepare to face such situations.

Once they are done hitting their car they will go else where and add further damage to their car. Later they will claim for all the damages in their claim

Waving is another technique used by these people. In pretence of helping you someone will wave you into traffic and then crash, making it look like an accident. Later, when they file a claim they will not admit about waving.

Awareness and preparedness is all you need to protect yourself.

  • Be careful,  you might have some one following you around and observing your driving skills
  • While you are driving or want to stop your car, keep enough space in front of you.
  • In event of an accident, do not forget to note down all the details, make sure that you know all about the other car and the people inside it.
  • Keeping a disposable camera in your car may come in handy when you have to record the damages to both cars.
  • Don’t just let others judge your driving skill.
  • Instead of getting in, let others pass first and also do keep enough space between two cars.
  • If you think there was a foul play, do tell that to your company.
