i just turned 21 saturday. I used to be through drive insurance- was paying (0/month) yes its true and then i got maried and it dropped to 180. Once my accident from when i was 16 was off record i called esurance, and they rated me for 135/month which is what i’ve been paying. I called progressive, and quoted the same rates from esurance since im 21 now ( read it goes lower) and they quoted me for 6 months at 0 or month for 6 months. Does this sound like a good deal in the long run? i’ve never seen a 6month insurance, will it continue after the 6 months that low as long as im in no accidents ect…? thanks , i hope it works out 75 a month for me saves me soooo much

Most car insurance companies offer renewal terms of 6 months or 12 months. For Progressive, if you pay the full 6 months and you want to renew your policy again for another 6 months you just pay the renewal premium. Renewal premiums could increase or decrease depending on the company. I work for Farmers and we’re having rate increase after rate increase. It really depends on the company. Progressive is a good company and if they’re saving you money then go for it
