Check with some sleazy brokers of high risk insurance ,you might find a carrier.
Be aware , even if you find an insurance company that will cover you ,it’s going to be very expensive.
Your best bet is like Doc said, complete the MSF,and get your license.
You’ll save several hundred dollars in insurance premiums.

Spend some time shopping around for insurance. You should be able to find someone who is willing to write a policy for you. Your insurance may be less expensive if you have completed a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF-USA.org) beginner rider course.

Of course you can. What good would a learners permit be if you couldn’t insure your bike? Age is the big factor in motorcycle insurance.

You can buy insurance and the rates will vary greatly. You can call an independent agent and get multiple rates. If you buy just liability you should be able to get coverage for $600 or less for the year…. if its full coverage you probably are looking at $5-8k for the year…… they basically assume they are going to buy you a bike that’s why the rate is so high. My suggestion is try and buy a bike you can afford to lose and just take liability then upgrade once you have passed the inexperienced operator surcharge of 20%
