I am covered under my parents’ insurance policy (Ontario), but am planning to move out on my own. I believe you can stay on as a driver covered under their policy. Now if the car was yours, and you moved away and took the car with you, then no. You would be lying about where the car was actually garaged and you would have to get your own policy. Hope this helps.
