The ONLY insurance I would take out on someone with 14 points on their license and a motorcycle would be Life Insurance.

Nope. They are going to want to insure the registered owner.I guess he could put it in your name and you could go get a motorcycle endorsement. Then you could insure it.

your boyfriend need to go to traffic school and get a couple of those points taken off…

there’s no way he’s going to find reasonable insurance anywhere, and even if you get coverage and an endorsment, how hppy do you thnk your insurance company is going to be if he wrecks "your" bike?

your bf needs a cheap (less than $2,000), older (pre 1995) low-powered (250cc) bike, and then pray he can get his own coverage.

Bottom line here. DO NOT put the bike in your name and DO NOT put the insurance in your name.

If he has 14 points against him he is a terrible irresponsible driver. If he gets into a wreck, and looking at his record the odds are very high that he will, YOU will be responsible. If someone sues, they will sue you.

In most states motorcycle insurance isn’t like car insurance, it follows the rider and not the bike.

If you registered and insured the bike, only you would be able to ride it. If he did not have insurance on the bike, he would still not be allowed to ride it.
