Get a list of all the companies who provide pet insurance and compare prices and benifits. Just use extreme caution when purchasing a policy. Most of them exclude the most common causes of high vet bill and you could be throwing $$$$ out the window. Genetic deficiencies (such as displacia) and anything they deem to be negligent ( your dog runs out the door and gets hit by a car) are usually not covered. Do some research and decide if its worth the fee or not.

Some of the vets in my area use Care Credit. I would just ask your vet which one they use. With Care Credit the vet has to pay a lot of money to offer it to their clients, so they must like it if they are using it.
